april women of ambient
April is here and so is a new women of ambient mix! The full, continuous downloadable mix which I pour a lot of love into is available exclusively for paid subscribers via untitled (a great resource for creatives). The playlist version with selections over the years has expanded to Tidal and Amazon Music (still working on this for Apple Music), and most songs are available via BNDCMPR too. The playlist is still on Spotify too.
I am always amazed at how many new artists there are to highlight each month and I hope you find some new songs you connect with. Give the artists a follow, buy something from their Bandcamp, add to your own playlists if you can. Every bit is appreciated.
This month features: Chiara Dubey, Marysia Osu, Park Jiha, Sonoda, Lucy Gooch, Delia Ra, IRYS BLÜM, Brandee Younger, Andrea Cicheki, Disiniblud (the new project from Rachicka Nayar + Nina Keith) + Amparo (who I just shared an interview with last week)!

I have a new collaborative song out with my husband James Bernard and NY-based artist Saapato. ‘Highway at Night’ is a part of Saapato’s new album, Decomposition: Fox on a Highway via Constellation Tatsu. This album features 16 collaborations meditating on transformation, interconnectedness, and renewal. The line-up features many women + gender expansive artists including Nailah Hunter, Early Fern, Green-House,
+ Diatom Deli.
I loved doing the album cover art for the new Eve Maret ambient vocal drone album, evergreen via trusted Texas-based label, Aural Canyon. I'm always exploring new ways to bend light in my photography, and this image was captured during a recent session where I experimented with different pieces of painted glass.
I contributed a film photo for the collaborative single, Aries from Gollden + Sun Rain. A peaceful song, as one would expect from these two Canadian-based ambient artists.

you are so amazing! I love all the work you do for local artists. *inspiration*
