Hello to all the new people around here + to all my longtime supporters too.
This newsletter is a place where I highlight women and gender-expansive artists whose work inspires me deeply. Lately I have been reflecting on how I also want to make sure I’m showing up here as me, sharing little pieces of my own heart through words and music. Thank you for making space for both.
Today, I am happy to share my new EP, quiet circle with you!
When I was growing up in Northern California’s Bay Area, I used to drive past a street called Quiet Circle every day. It was this long, tucked-away driveway nestled at the base of Mount Diablo. I remember wondering as a kid if it was actually quieter there. That small thought stuck with me over the years, and in its own way, shaped how I came to value stillness and softness in life.
This EP is an ode to that kind of space—places where we can step back and just be. I create and share ambient music to help carve out these little pockets of quiet, for myself and for anyone else who might need them.
I'm hosting a listening party today Friday, April 25th at 11am PDT, and I’d love to have you there. I’ll be sharing some behind-the-scenes stories and reflections on the songs and all the gear I used (yes, I am a bit of a gear nerd).

Thank you so much for listening, and for all the support—and a huge shout to my husband who mastered the songs at our studio Ambient Mountain House.
See you next week with a new women of ambient mix, I’m looking forward to sharing a lot of the gems I have recently found. The well is endless.
With lots of gratitude,
Cynthia
