September ‘women of ambient’ time!
This month’s ‘women of ambient’ is also the mix I performed live at Echo Park Rising on August 17th. The event was curated by AKP Recordings and was hosted at the flagship store of P.F Candle. Much gratitude to all involved. including Noah Klein, Jenn Prince + Ki Oni for playing as well!
You can listen to this month’s selections via the Soundcloud continuous mix (just for a little while), BNDCMPR + playlist (with all the latest additions at the top).
**This mix and all archived mixes from the past few years are available to stream and download for paid subscribers of this newsletter. I pour a lot of love into this portion of the mix series!

marine eyes updates:
It was an honor to remix a song for Good Weather For An Airstrike. The story behind ‘We’ll Make It To Oslo’ hit me hard. Tom’s daughter had a brain abscess + was hospitalized for 2 months. They would dream of things they wanted to do when she recovered + Oslo was at the top of her list. Tom told me this was a ‘a song of hope during a very tough time.’ Amazing news that she is better + they’re hoping to get to Oslo soon.
My husband James and I run a studio called Ambient Mountain House. He is a mixing & mastering engineer and I am available for art, design, additional production and remixes. Here is the link to our website.
Here is a photo I caught on film recently. I love how light (even in my home’s hallway) makes me pause and connect to the present.
"I love how light (even in my home’s hallway) makes me pause and connect to the present." - So beautiful. That aspect is also brilliantly woven into Wim Wenders' "Perfect Days." Have you seen it? I just randomly recommend it to everyone, it's so good.
Oh my goodness! Well Make it to Oslo, wow! (Not sure if I remembered the title correctly) what a beautiful song and amazing concept. I love your newsletter, thank you for these! I love your perspective, it always helps me grow too
